Business Controller
As a Business Controller, you will act as a key financial partner across the organization, providing insights, analysis, and controls that drive sound decision-making. You will support business planning, monitor financial performance, and ensure resource allocation is aligned with strategic objectives. Your work will directly contribute to our mission to accelerate the energy transition.
4–7 years experience in FP&A, business controlling, or finance strategy roles.
Background in startups, scaleups, cleantech, renewables, SaaS, or hardware businesses.
Top-notch financial modeling and analysis skills.
Confident working with ERP and reporting systems (NetSuite, SAP, Power BI, etc.).
A love for metrics, structure, and also working in environments where not everything is perfectly tidy yet.
Passion for sustainability, climate action, or mission-driven businesses is a huge plus.
You’re proactive, curious, adaptable — and love moving fast.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s / CPA / CFA a plus).
Experience: 4–7 years in business controlling, FP&A, or financial analysis roles — ideally within the cleantech, renewable energy, or tech industries.
Skills:
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
Expertise in ERP systems and financial reporting tools (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Power BI).
Solid understanding of business operations and drivers.
Interest or background in sustainability, ESG, or climate impact reporting is a plus.
Soft Skills: Proactive, detail-oriented, strong communicator, collaborative, and mission-driven.

What You’ll Do
Own our financial planning — budgets, forecasts, long-term planning.
Build models that help leadership make bold, smart moves.
Partner up with teams (Sales, R&D, Ops) to spot opportunities and solve problems.
Keep an eye on performance: KPIs, dashboards, reports — and help us act fast on insights.
Support strategic projects: new products, markets, investments.
Find efficiencies across the business — better processes, smarter spending.
Help integrate impact (climate, ESG metrics) into how we measure success.
Be part of building a next-gen finance function that’s fast, flexible, and forward-looking.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
Business Partnering: Work closely with operational teams (R&D, Sales, Operations) to provide financial insights and improve performance.
Performance Management: Develop KPIs, dashboards, and performance reports to track business health.
Cost Control & Optimization: Analyze cost structures, recommend improvements, and support operational efficiency projects.
Reporting: Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to management and external stakeholders.
Internal Controls: Strengthen financial governance and ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Climate Impact Metrics: Integrate sustainability and impact metrics into financial planning and reporting frameworks.
